Hi, Thanks for stopping by!
I’m an actor and lyricist/librettist based in New York City. If you like comedy, you may have seen me on Episode 6 of "Alternatino with Arturo Castro". And if you like scandalous dramas (or just Hugh Jackman), you'll want to catch me in a scene with him in the upcoming HBO film "Bad Education".
Apart from the numerous commercials and print ads, onstage I play the barrier-breaking Leading Ladies. Sometimes these are women I've written myself and other times, they're the classic roles, in which I’m integrating southern radio stations (Felicia in Memphis ) advocating for my husband’s right to justice (Sarah in Ragtime) or fearlessly escaping the cage of my abusive home (Johanna u/s in Sweeney Todd).
I’m actively creating change on the stage and developing new projects as a lyricist in the Advanced BMI- Lehman Engel Musical Theatre Workshop. I've written commissioned work for Prospect Theatre's Musical Theather Lab, Astoria Performing Art Center, and Girlhood the Musical. And this past September I produced a show of my own work - The New Black Leading Lady- featuring songs from musical comedies I'm working on. It was sold out!!!
And I’m moving the inclusion conversation forward as the co-Founder of BOLD, and on the AEA committee for Equal Employment Opportunity and Diversity.
