I AM AN ACTOR AND WRITER!  

I write musical comedies that center Black Women charting new paths to joy.

And like the typical New York actor, I'm on Law and Order, a lot.  I'm recurring.  I've also been on the Blacklist, Alternatino, Bad Education (with Hugh Jackman).  

I recently completed my MFA in Musical Theatre Writing at NYU Tisch, as a "Words Person".  (I write book and lyrics)

• My musical "Hula Hoopin Queen" (also with Derrick Byars) is now running at Theatre Row. (Hoop hoop hooray!)

• My musical "The Pact" (with music by Derrick Byars) was a finalist for the Eugene O'neill Musical Theatre Conference.

• My musical "Sandra & Vernell Save Albany Street" (with music by Sophia Schott) is in development and had a 90-minute reading at NYU Tisch in 2025, and was a semifinalist for the 2025 Eugene O'neill Musical Theatre Conference.

• When I'm not experimenting at NYU, I'm in the Advanced BMI Lehman-Engel Musical Theatre Workshop.
